Organization plan of the GeORG project
The duration of the project extended from October 2008 to December 2012. The EU provided project funding of 50% of the total amount.
The project leader is the Regional Commission Freiburg, State Authority for Geology, Resources und Mining. The other partners are the French geological survey (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières, BRGM), the geological survey of Rheinland-Pfalz and the Institute for Engineering and Environment Geology of the Basel University.
